New Mobile Web Sites!

We have been keeping our eyes open for mobile web sites that are appropriate for kids and have made available additional sites in the “Other Great Mobile Sites” category on the handset. As our mobileweb users know, the service supports four categories of sites:
- Category 1: Free sites
- Category 2: Other “kid appropriate” mobile sites
- Category 3: Social Networking and IM Sites
- Category 4: Open Internet
We have opened access to number of new sites in Category 2 – including sports, style, several magazines, Thesaurus, etc.
Enjoy! Please let us know if there are other mobile sites we should include in this category.

hey kajeet, are you coming out with a new phone besides the sanyo 2700 and the lg rumor 2…….? i have the lg rumor, and mine has so many problems with it! =(

Keep checking back for new phones! In the meantime, if you have a problem with your Rumor handset, please contact Customer Care (1-866-452-5338 or care@kajeet.com). The Rumor2 has a 1 year warranty – we will replace it if not functioning properly during this time.

If you were to update your phones,what would be your choice of the next new kajeet phone?

That’s a hard question to answer. My wish list is probably the same as everyone’s! Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to offer an array of Qwerty and Touch options for less than $100?
Unfortunately, the handset manufacturers are just not delivering on this yet! There is some physics involved. With scale the costs will come down and we will see these price points in the market at some point. In the meantime, we will see advances in the $100-$200 range over the next year. Not as fast as we would like – but it has only been in the past year that we could release a new Qwerty keyboard phone for less than $150.
Because we operate online at kajeet, we can and do take quick advantage of opportunistic deals when these become available. So we will keep searching for these!
